Workshop Description

Stress has become a national health concern in the US.  Professional and personal boundaries have collapsed leaving most people feeling overwhelmed and burnt out.  

Come and enjoy an experiential workshop on utilizing a mind-body-spirit approach to managing stress at work.  This workshop will incorporate mindfulness meditation, chair yoga and tips how to better manage stress to increase your ability to be present and most effective at work and at home.

Who is This Workshop For

This workshop is for anyone who finds themselves struggling to manage the fast paced nature of life and would like to find a way to feel more focused and present on a daily basis.

What You'll Learn

  • The effects of stress on the mind-body-spirit.

  • How to use mindfulness based skills in daily life to manage stress.

  • Simple chair yoga poses/breathing techniques to reduce stress at work and home.

  • Tips on stress management utilizing a holistic healh perspective


Instructor Bio - Stephanie Troy

Stephanie Troy, LICSW is a Mind-Body Therapist & Trainer and the owner of Your Whole Healing which provides individual counseling and wellness presentations to help people Strive to Thrive.  She combines her over 16 years experience as a therapist with certifications in both health coaching and yoga to provide a unique blend of traditional therapy and coaching.  Stephanie writes for her own blog and has been a contributor to the Huffington Post and Elephant Journal.
